This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company BILLA, spol. s r. o. for the period 2010 – 2015 on the basis of selected indicators of financial analysis. The thesis is divided into the three parts. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge. In the second part we find selected methods of financial analysis applied to a specific company and followed by an overall assessment of the financial situation of the company. The third part contains proposals to improve this situation.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the financial situation of company Daikin Device Czech Republic s.r.o. In the theoretical part, there are described the external and internal analysis of the company with using the selected methods. In the practical part, these methods are applicated and the conclusions and recommendations are drawn up, which shoud lead to the improvement of the situation in the company and increase the financial stability.

The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of basic concepts, the practical part contains calculations of financial analysis and practical recommendations for improving the financial side of the company.

Evalution of Corporation´s Economic and financial situation.

This diploma paper treats methods of financial analysis and thein use for evaluation of the economic and financial situation of a company. I tis dividend in free parts – a theoretical one, an analytical one and a practical one. In the theoretical part of this diploma paper there are selected terminology explained and certain methods of financ ial analysis described. The kex attention is paid to elementary methods, primarily to the analysis of the status indices, ratio indices and the analysis of the system of indices. In the secon part of the paper these methods are used for processing of the financial analysis of the Spalovna a komunální odpady Corporation, in Brno. The reset of the analysis will be an evaluation of the society development during the years of 2003 – 2008, as well as an evaluation of the economic situation and status of the company at the end of the evaluation period and also an outline of a possible future development of this corporation. In the third part there will be a proposal of a solution for expansion of the corporatin presented on the basis of the results of the analysis and an evaluation of the corporation economic performance.

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation in the selected company. The theoretical part will be focused on the characteristics of basic concepts and the introduction of selected methods and indicators of the financial analysis. In the practical part each method will be applied on the selected enterprise in order to identify the cause of the adverse situation. The measures for improving of the found issues will be proposed in the last part of the thesis.
